Howell Mill Road Bike and Pedestrian Concept Study

Project Background

The Upper Westside Improvement District wants to assess the existing and future demands for multi-modal transportation through its busiest corridor, Howell Mill Road, and design a safe and efficient connection between existing and planned bike facilities. The purpose of this study will be to identify a preferred alternative for such facilities from Forrest Street to Collier Road. This study will involve participation by local and regional stakeholders such as the City of Atlanta, the Georgia Department of Transportation, MARTA, and the Atlanta Regional Commission as well as engagement of local residents, business owners, and commercial property owners for input and feedback. Be sure to check back often as we provide project updates and post a survey to hear from you directly.

There will be 3 public meetings scheduled, starting September 11, 2019. Stay tuned and subscribe to our newsletter for more updates.
