Thanks to advocacy by our CID and Blandtown neighbors, the City of Atlanta funded the clearing out of undergrowth at Ellsworth Industrial and Elaine Avenue. The changes greatly improve visibility and contribute to the ongoing beautification of Blandtown neighborhood.
This cleanup effort will greatly improve traffic safety at the intersection, which will be even more significant alongside legislation Councilperson Hillis has recently introduced to install an all-way stop sign at the intersection. This landscaping work also paves the way for additional pedestrian improvements along Ellsworth Industrial, as we work to make Blandtown more walkable.
We thank Councilmember Hillis for his continued support of the Upper Westside and his commitment to making our community safer. Keep up the good work, Dustin!
