Howell Junction Pocket Park
How it’s shaping the Upper Westside
The Howell Junction Pocket Park at the intersection of West Marietta, Brady, and 8th is the product of a successful public-private partnership between the CID, the City of Atlanta Department of City Planning, the Marietta Street Artery neighborhood, and the adjacent property owner.
This pocket park includes a custom circular planter bench, bike racks, and a bike tune-up station. Thirteen new trees were planted including Magnolias, Serviceberry, and Nuttall Oaks, and Black Gums.
