Spring is in full bloom and so is our community connectivity

We’re ushering in spring with more ways to walk, bike, and experience public art in the Upper Westside. With Celebrate Trails Day around the corner on Saturday, April 26th, we’re excited to announce our very first ART DROP along the Woodall Rail Trail. This drop will feature goodies from the very talented Sarah Neuburger  — just in time for your next ride or stroll!

Celebrate Trails Day is an annual spring celebration of America’s trails. Started by Rails to Trails Conservancy in 2013, the celebration invites everyone outside to experience the joy and impact of America’s trails. We’re thrilled to be able to celebrate this in our own backyard in the Upper Westside now that Woodall Rail Trail (trailhead here) and The Spur Trail (trailhead here) are open!

And speaking of trails, the Northwest BeltLine Segment 5 is on track to be completed this year. This key connection will tie directly into the Woodall Rail Trail, bringing even more seamless mobility to the neighborhood. You can read more about their construction timeline here

Huff Road Study: Concept Design is Here

We’ve completed our Huff Road Multimodal Study, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks to your input, we’ve completed the initial design for a more connected and safer Huff Road! Next up: identifying early wins to implement and strategizing around fundraising and grant opportunities to turn the long-term vision into reality.  Check out the concept here.

Collier Road Workshop Recap

Four days. One storefront. Tons of ideas.

Earlier this month, we popped up at 1963 Howell Mill Road to get your feedback on the future of Collier Road. From bike infrastructure preferences to where public art and safer pedestrian crossings should go, your insights were invaluable.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll use your input to develop two conceptual design options — and you’ll get to help choose the final direction. Stay tuned!
