Fall is the best stretch of the year to be out and about. As the weather cools off, it’s the perfect time to walk, bike, and roll your way around the district, and Westside Stride is the ideal excuse. Below, everything you need for November 8, plus the start of our monthly business roundup so you can make the most of the season.

Westside Stride is almost here!

Sunday, November 8 | Noon to 6 p.m. | Howell Mill Road

For one epic afternoon, Howell Mill Road is ours, and for the first time ever, Westside Stride is joining forces with Atlanta Streets Alive and the Atlanta Department of Transportation. This new partnership means there are even more ways to get to the event on foot or by bike. This year if you’re coming from the:

East – 14th Street between Northside Drive and Howell Mill Road will have a dedicated bike lane for anyone traveling west along the newly constructed 14th Street Cycle track

Southeast – PATH Parkway along Georgia Tech’s campus will lead you to 3rd Street which will be closed to cars up until 8th St, leading you straight to the event

South – from the Westside Beltline Connector, hop over to The Spur trail, then ride north to West Marietta onto the new cycle track completed by the CID

West – take the Westside Beltline to the Westside Beltline Connector, hop over to The Spur trail, then ride north to West Marietta onto the new cycle track completed by the CID

Lace up, hop on a bike, grab your people, and take over the street.

What’s waiting for you:

  • The Artist & Maker’s Market, with local makers and artists on two stretches of Howell Mill (8th to 10th Streets and 14th to 17th Streets)
  • A petting zoo sponsored by QTS at Huff Road
  • Axe throwing courtesy of American Axes at Huff Road
  • Free Bike Valets at Westside Provisions District, behind Design Within Reach and at the SE corner of Howell Mill & 10th
  • Food, music, and neighborhood energy all afternoon – be sure to stop by the Northside Tavern Stage sponsored by QTS
  • Private photography sessions for purchase at the northern end of the route, by 17th Street
  • Your favorite local vendors, all in one place. Check the event map to plan your route

Walk it. Bike it. Roll it. Just don’t miss it.

Driving? Park once and explore on foot. Our parking map shows your options.
