Westside Stride 2025: Thank You!
What a day! Despite the wind and drizzle, y’all showed up and made this year’s Westside Stride one to remember. Neighbors, families, cyclists, and local businesses came together for a true celebration of community. From live music and great food to interactive activations across the district, it was energizing to see attendees of all ages walking and rolling together through the heart of the Upper Westside.

Street & Infrastructure Updates
The City of Atlanta’s resurfacing project on West Marietta Street is now underway. Milling and paving have already begun, and the project extends farther than originally announced — reaching all the way to Brady Avenue.
Expect night construction activity over the coming weeks.
The City is currently developing a traffic control plan for the Marietta Blvd/West Marietta intersection to ensure a smooth and safe repaving process.

Congratulations to Mujo for topping the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s “50 Best Restaurants in Atlanta” list — a proud Upper Westside moment!
Avize Featured in The New York Times
Recently named one of the “50 Most Exciting Restaurants of 2025” by The New York Times, Avize continues to bring national attention to the Upper Westside’s vibrant culinary scene.
BRYKS Upper Westside Opens Its Doors
The newest addition to our skyline, BRYKS Upper Westside, officially celebrated its grand opening on Marietta Boulevard. This mixed-use community brings 576 residences, ground-level retail, coworking and makers’ spaces, a fitness center, EV charging, and a resort-style pool — creating a modern hub for living, working, and connecting right here in the Upper Westside.
Bike Community Spotlight
Atlanta’s cycling community continues to thrive — stay tuned for upcoming group rides and infrastructure improvements that make biking in the Upper Westside easier than ever.

Family-Friendly Finds in West Midtown
Huff Linear Green Improvements
The bocce court and new signage are just the beginning. Additional enhancements, funded by Park Pride and BeltLine signage grants, are on the way — bringing even more activation to this community green space.
Parking Improvements
The temporary blue “P” signs you spotted during Westside Stride were part of a pilot program. If community feedback is positive, larger and permanent parking signs will be installed to make navigating the district even easier.
