★ Grand Openings ★
Woodall Rail Trail (pictured left)
This 0.7 mile trail beginning at the future Beltline crossing at Ellsworth Industrial Blvd & Elaine Ave stretches along a beautiful undisturbed forest and up to The Works. It’ll be a link in the forthcoming Silver Comet Connector. Celebration to be scheduled this spring.
The Spur Trail (pictured right)
Another 0.7 mile trail that connects Westside Paper south to the Westside Beltline Connector Trail. Celebration to be scheduled this spring.

Signalized Pedestrian Crossing
Frogger no more across Howell Mill Road just south of I-75 between the Piedmont offices and The District at Howell Mill. Soon a push-button activated red light will help you cross the street!

Chattahoochee Avenue Improvements
A new multi-use path predominantly on the south-side of Chattahoochee Avenue and repurposing a west-bound travel lane on Chattahoochee into a north-bound left turn lane onto Howell Mill Road to help with congestion. Construction is anticipated to begin at the end of 2025.
17th Street Sidewalk
Finally, the sidewalk you’ve been waiting for between Waterworks Greenspace and Huff Hill is in design and funded for construction! You’ll soon be able to safely walk on the north side of 17th all the way to Atlantic Station.
Ellsworth Industrial Blvd Sidewalk
We’ll design a safe and consistent sidewalk on the west side of the street between Huff Rd and Elaine Blvd.

Collier Road Multimodal Study
We are gathering community input to identify a preferred plan for a Collier Road that accommodates walking, biking, and driving with a focus on creating a sense of place!
